Is COVID-19 Creating More Ghosts?

Paranormal Activity Increases… and it’s Not Because More People are Dying

2020 has been a scary year for many reasons. The fears of the real-world have been heavy and legitimate, and people are stuck inside, avoiding each other and the possible contamination of the life-changing sickness.

With fewer people out and about, it seems that the dead have come back to life.

According to an article by The New York Times, “Reports of paranormal activity have increased during the coronavirus pandemic. . . Have you experienced more strange, perhaps paranormal, phenomena during the pandemic? If yes, you are not alone.”

With the increase of these ghostly reports, it is apparent that more people are seeing and experiencing the paranormal amidst the coronavirus.

Is increased anxiety of the state of the world causing more people to experience otherworldly activity? Is it because people’s awareness has widened due to their isolation?

Or maybe it’s because the world is gradually growing darker, and people are only now starting to notice. . .

Who knows!

One thing for certain is that St. Anthony Main, the oldest architecture in Minneapolis and the central location of Minneapolis’s spine-chilling Real Ghost Tours, has been lighting up with ghost activity recently.

An explanation is that there are more ghosts, because COVID-19 is some serious business. To be frank, it can be deadly.

Another interpretation of this strange increase is that fewer people have been going out, and buildings in Minneapolis, like St. Anthony Main and others like it, haven’t been this empty in years! Maybe the paranormal are lonely, or maybe they’re enjoying their newfound space to spread out and roam free!

Regardless, these reports of being unable to socially distance from spiritual entities, household objects being moved by unseen forces, and sudden cold/hot spots lead us to believe that we will have a high-activity season of Real Ghost Tours this year.

If we suspect these ghosts are lingering during a ghost tour, we do have electro-magnetic field (EMF) readers, electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) equipment, thermal heat sensor, and dowsing rods to offer our guests to be able to detect their spiritual activity.

With our professional ghost gear and your newly-practiced patience, there will not be any activity missed on a Real Ghost Tour!

Experience the increased paranormal activity this year with Real Ghost Tours of Minneapolis!

We will leave you with this horrifying quote from The New York Times: “One could argue that the ghost puttering around in your kitchen is not only there, but that she’s always been there. Maybe you’re what’s changed. Or maybe you’re listening more closely in the greater quiet all around us. Perhaps we’re just now starting to notice that the world is a little bit weirder than we gave it credit for.”
